In the Discounts section you can create and manage discounts to increase sales and boost revenue. Whether you prefer percentage-based discounts or fixed-price reductions, this tool allows you to build engaging offers your customers will love.

Discounts are automatically applied to the customer's app upon checkout.

Location View or Company View?

  • If you want to apply a discount to a single store, make sure you are in the Location View and have selected the correct location. This discount will apply only to that location.

  • If you want to apply a discount to all locations under the selected company, switch to the Company View and type the company name.

Step-by-Step Guide to Configure a Discount

Navigate to Discounts under the Marketing section in the left navigation bar. Click the + Add Discount button. The Add Discount form will open.

Step 1 – Fill in the Discount Details

Image Upload – Upload an image for this discount at 700 x 700px. Discounts are displayed in a carousel on the homepage of the app, so a clear and eye-catching image works best. As you fill in the form, a live preview on the right will show how the discount card will appear to customers.

Name – The name of the discount as it will appear to customers. For example: "Friday Happy Hour" or "Welcome Offer".

Description – A short description of the discount offer. For example: "Get 15% off every Friday between 5PM and 9PM."

Is Active – Toggle on to make the discount live and visible to customers.

Exclusive – Toggle on if this discount cannot be combined with other promotions.

Priority – Set the display order of this discount. Lower numbers appear first in the carousel.

Date – Set a start and end date for the discount. Leave empty if the discount has no expiry.

Once Per Customer – Toggle on to limit this discount to one use per customer. Useful for welcome offers or first-order promotions.

Maximum Usage Count – The total number of times this discount can be redeemed across all customers. For example: set to 500 to cap a limited-time promotion. The default is 100,000.

Visibility – Choose who can see this discount:

  • Public – Visible to all customers.
  • Targeted – Only visible to specific customers based on the conditions you configure below. For example, only customers placing their first order.

Step 2 – Set the Conditions

Conditions allow you to control exactly when and to whom the discount applies. Tick the checkbox next to each condition you wish to enable and configure it:

First Order (Customers only) – This discount applies only to a customer's very first order. Ideal for welcome promotions.

Order Amount – Set a minimum purchase amount and a maximum discount amount required to unlock this discount. For example: minimum spend of £20, maximum discount of £5.

Order Count (Customers only) – Set a required number of previous orders a customer must have made to be eligible. For example: only customers who have placed 5 or more orders.

Order Types – Restrict the discount to specific order types: Delivery, Pickup, Catering, Curb-side, or Eat-in.

Time Period – Restrict the discount to a specific time window. Click + Add Item to add a time range. For example: a Happy Hour discount every Thursday from 5PM to 9PM.

Payment Methods – Restrict the discount to specific payment methods: Cash, Card, or Card Terminal.

Platforms – Restrict the discount to specific platforms: Web, iOS, Android, or Android Epos.

Menu Items – Restrict the discount to specific categories or menu items. Select a category or menu item from the dropdown and click + Add to include it.
If you want this discount to apply to more than one item or category, simply select another and click + Add again.
Use the Minimum Quantity of Items counter to set the minimum number of items a customer must order to unlock the discount. For example: set to 2 meaning the customer must order at least 2 of the selected items to be eligible.

Step 3 – Configure the Discount

Discount Type – Choose one of the following:

  • Order Discount – Applied to the total order amount.
  • Delivery Fee Discount – Applied to the delivery fee.
  • Menu Item Discount – Applied to specific menu items.

Discount Amount – Enter the value of the discount. For example: 10 for a fixed £10 off.

Is Percentage – If you want the discount to be a percentage rather than a fixed amount, toggle this on. The Discount Amount field will then be read as a percentage. For example: entering 15 with this toggled on means 15% off.

Step 4 – Submit

Once all fields are completed, click Submit. Your discount is now live and will be automatically applied at checkout for eligible customers.
