Payment Methods | Order Tiger Help Center

This section enables store owners to configure their preferred payment methods (e.g. card payments, card terminal, or cash on delivery) for customers when placing orders.

Step-by-Step Guide to Configure Your Payment Methods

Configure Payment Methods:

Log in to the Dashboard
Navigate to the Payment Methods section in the left navigation bar
Click on ADD PAYMENT METHOD button at top right
A window will pop up where you can configure a Payment Method as explained below (see screenshot below)

Each Payment Method includes key configuration details as shown below:

Order Type: Set the order type you wish to configure and add.
Payment Type: Set the payment type of this payment method. The available options are Cash, Card and Card Terminal. Card Terminal are offline payments where the receptionist or the driver charges the customer via a card terminal.
Payment Processer: If you chose "Card" as the payment type, then you need to specify the payment processor to accept online payments. Payment processors are configured in Company View > Finance > Payment Method Integration
Charge Mode: Charge mode is relevant for Card payments only. Set the charge mode as FIXED if you wish to charge the customers a fixed surcharge (card fee) amount on each order placed. Set the charge mode as PERCENTAGE if you wish to charge a percentage based fee to the total price of the order.
Minimum Amount: Minimum amount is relevant for Card payments only. Set the minimum amount to accept Card payments.
Free Amount: Free amount is relevant for Card payments only. The free amount is the minimum amount of the order's total to skip charging the customer a surcharge (card fee)
Channel: Set the channel that will list this payment method as an option. The following channels can be chosen: All, Web, iOS, Android. All refers to all channels, Web refers to the online ordering website platform, iOS refers to the iOS online ordering app platform and Android refers to the Android online ordering app platform.
