Bumping and Recall
Bumping#
- Tap an item to mark it done. It is struck through. Tap it again to undo.
- Tap the ticket header to mark every remaining item done. On a prep station the ticket turns grey and slides to the Done rail at the bottom of the screen.
- When every item on a prep ticket is done the ticket is finished automatically — there is no separate step.
The expo screen and marking an order ready#
The expo station shows whole orders, with late tickets first. Its header bump is what tells the customer the order is ready: it sets the order's status to Ready to pick up, exactly as if you had done it in Live Orders, and the customer's notifications follow from there. The expo cannot bump an order while a prep station still has unfinished items — the card shakes instead. A manager with the override permission can press and hold the header to bump it anyway.
A kitchen with no expo station works the same way from the prep stations: when the last prep station finishes an order, the order is marked ready.
Recall#
Bumped a ticket by mistake? The Recall button opens a drawer listing everything bumped in the last 30 minutes, newest first; the same tickets appear on the Done rail. Tap one to put it back on the board with all of its items unbumped. Recalling from the expo also moves the order back from Ready to pick up to Accepted. An order the customer has already collected, or that is out for delivery, cannot be recalled.
