Routing Rules

Go to Kitchen → Routing Rules to say which station each item goes to. A rule matches either a product or a whole category and sends it to one prep station. When an order is accepted, every item is checked against the rules:

1. Rules are tried in order of priority, lowest number first. A product rule with priority 10 beats a category rule with priority 50, whatever order you created them in.
2. The first matching rule whose station is a prep station and is not paused wins.
3. An item that matches nothing goes to the default station. Nothing is ever dropped.

The list shows the product or category name, the target station and the priority. To pick a product you first choose the menu and, optionally, a category to narrow the list. The usual pattern is a handful of category rules (Burgers → Grill, Sides → Fry) and a few product rules for the exceptions.
