The Kitchen Screen

Kitchen → Kitchen Display shows the board inside the dashboard, with the sidebar and page title, which is right for a manager checking in from the office. For a screen mounted in the kitchen, use the full-screen kitchen screen instead.

Opening it#

• Press the full-screen button at the right of the board's top bar, or open /admin/kitchen/single-board/ directly.
• The header stays, with the company and location pickers, so one device can be switched between locations; the sidebar, the page title and the Company / Location View toggle are gone and the board fills the rest of the screen.
• The station picker, card size, sound and filters work exactly as on the dashboard board. The button at the far right returns to the dashboard view.

Setting up a device#

1. Sign in on the tablet as a super-admin account and pick the location in the header.
2. Open the kitchen screen and choose the station in the top-left. The device remembers the station per location.
3. Tap once anywhere so the browser allows the chimes, then leave the page open. Set the device not to sleep — a locked screen suspends the live connection.
4. In the browser, use full-screen mode (F11 on a laptop, Add to Home Screen on a tablet) to hide the address bar.
