Accepting and Declining Orders
An order in New is a customer waiting for an answer. Accepting confirms it and gives a preparation time; declining rejects it with a reason the customer sees. Neither happens by itself — an order stays in the tab until somebody decides.
Accepting an order#
- Select the order in New and check the items and the requested time.
- Tap Accept.
- Choose the preparation time from the presets, or enter your own.
- Confirm. The order moves to Ongoing and the receipt prints.
Minimum preparation times#
A branch can set a minimum preparation time per service. Where it applies, presets below the minimum are greyed out and a shorter custom time cannot be confirmed — the rule protects the kitchen and, on delivery, the driver's collection window. A longer time is always allowed.
Declining an order#
- Select the order and tap Decline.
- Pick a reason.
- For Other, type the reason.
- Confirm. The order moves to Previous as rejected.
The reasons offered are Out of Stock, Too Busy, Almost closing time, No Drivers, Unavailable, Customer is Uncontactable, False/Fraudulent Order, Extreme Weather, Menu Item Issues, Customer Request and Other.
Troubleshooting#
Failed to accept order
The acceptance did not reach the server. Check the connection and try again; do not start cooking until the order shows as accepted.
Failed to decline order
The same, for a decline. Confirm the order's state before retrying.
Please select a reason
A decline needs a reason before it can be confirmed.
The accept button is missing
The order is not awaiting confirmation: it has already been accepted, declined, or was confirmed automatically.
