Company View vs Location View

The dashboard has two working contexts, and everything in this guide is organised around them. Before diving into individual features, make sure you know which view you are in — the same menu label (for example Analytics or Finance) can mean company-wide data in one view and single-location data in the other.

The two views at a glance#

Location View is where the day-to-day running of a single location (branch) happens. You pick a company and a location in the header, and everything you see and change — services, menus, orders, opening hours, fees — applies to that location only. This is the view branch operators work in, and for most users it is the only view available. Company View looks across the whole business. It is available to administrators with super-admin access and is used to manage companies and their locations, see orders and analytics aggregated across all locations, and handle company-level concerns such as plans, invoices and platform settings. In Company View you select a company, not a location.

Switching between views#

If your account has super-admin access, a Company View / Location View toggle is shown at the top of the dashboard (on smaller screens it appears as a button in the right-hand menu). Switching does not log you out or lose your place in the other view — it simply moves you between the two contexts.

  • Company View — the company-wide screens
  • Location View — the selected location's screens

Accounts without super-admin access do not see the toggle and always work in Location View.

How this guide is organised#

The rest of this guide is split into two parts, matching the two views:

  • Part 1 — Location View: one chapter per section of the Location View menu — Operations (Services, Tables, Live Orders, Menus, Delivery Zones, Table Reservation, Opening Times), Customers (Customers, Reviews), Analytics, Marketing, Finance (Payment Methods, Service Fees, Invoices, Taxes), Store (Location Groups, Integration, Business Sub-Categories, Business Details) and Settings.
  • Part 2 — Company View: one chapter per section of the Company View menu — Business (Companies, Locations, Business Categories, Location Groups), Orders & Customers (Orders, Customers, Reviews), Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Billing, Platform and Settings.
