🏢 Company View
Analytics
In Company View, the Analytics section gives you a business-wide picture: figures are aggregated across all locations of the company you have selected in the top bar, and a dedicated Performance report lets you compare your companies and their locations side by side. Company View is available to administrators with company-wide (super-admin) access; administrators of a single location work in Location View instead.
What is Analytics?#
Analytics in Company View is made up of four report pages:
- Overview — company-wide sales, order and platform KPIs for a chosen period, with charts and an order export.
- Performance(Company View only) — ranks the companies you manage and compares the locations inside each one on sales, orders, average order value and new customers.
- Product Analytics — best- and worst-selling products across the whole company (or one location).
- Customer Analytics — customer base, segments, engagement, referrals and loyalty across the whole company (or one location).
Where to find Analytics#
- View: switch to
Company Viewusing the view switcher in the header (the other tab isLocation View). Then pick the company you want to analyse in theCompanyselector next to it. - Menu: Analytics →
Overview/Performance/Product Analytics/Customer Analytics.
Overview#
The Overview page shows how the selected company performed in a chosen period, aggregated across all of its locations. The name of the selected company (or of the location, if you narrow the report down to one) is shown as a heading above the filters.
Filters#
- Location — the
All Locationsselector. Leave it empty to see the whole company, or pick one location to focus on it. - Date range — a date navigator with
TODAY,WEEK,MONTHandYEARpresets, arrows to step to the previous/next period, and a calendar for a custom range. The page opens on the current week.
- Order Type — multi-select:
Delivery,Pickup,Catering,Curb-side,Eat-in. - Payment Type — multi-select:
Cash,Card,Card Terminal. - Status — multi-select order status:
Pending,Accepted,Ready to Pick Up,On Its Way,AutoConfirmed,Completed,Rejected,Cancelled. - Payment Status — multi-select:
Processed,Pending,Refunded,Partially Refunded,Cancelled. - Tracking ID — narrow the report to orders carrying a specific tracking reference.
The report refreshes automatically whenever you change a filter — there is no separate search button.
What you see#
- Total Sales and Subtotal Sales — headline amounts with a donut chart splitting each between the
iOS,AndroidandWebordering channels. - Order Count — total number of orders, also split by
iOS/Android/Web. - Total card — Delivery Fees, Tips, Driver Tips and Total Refunds for the period. A Service Fees row is additionally shown to some administrator accounts.
- Average card — Total, Sub Total and Delivery Fee averages per order, plus New Customers and New Customers with Conversions (new registrations that went on to order).
- Count Cancelled and Count Rejected — how many orders were cancelled or rejected.
- Sales chart — bars for daily sales (with
All,iOS,AndroidandWebseries) combined with accumulated- sales lines, so you can see both the daily rhythm and the running total.
An Export button at the top of the page downloads the orders behind the report as a CSV spreadsheet, using whatever filters are currently applied.
Differences from the Location View version#
- A location filter (
All Locations) is available — Location View is always tied to one location, so it has no such filter. - The company name (or the chosen location's name) appears as a title above the filters.
- A Payment Status filter is available. In Location View this filter does not exist and the report automatically covers processed, refunded, partially refunded and cancelled payments — so Company View totals can differ from Location View totals for the same period if you set the Payment Status filter differently.
Performance Company View only#
Performance is the comparison report and exists only in Company View. It lists every company you manage — regardless of which company is currently selected in the header — and lets you expand each one into a side-by- side comparison of its locations.
Filters#
- Date range — presets
TODAY,WEEKandMONTH, plus a custom range. The range may cover at most 31 days; a longer selection shows the message "Date range cannot exceed 31 days. Please select a shorter period." - Order Type, Payment Type, Status and Payment Status — the same multi-select filters as on Overview (see the value lists above).
The report loads automatically when the page opens and refreshes whenever a filter changes.
Summary cards#
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total Sales | Combined sales of all your companies for the period. When companies trade in different currencies, each currency is listed with its own amount and its converted value, and the headline figure is expressed in your base currency. If exchange rates are unavailable, the card is titled Est. Total Sales and a warning appears: "Some currencies could not be converted — estimated total is partial". |
| Total Orders | Combined order count across all companies. |
| Active Branches | How many locations recorded activity in the period. |
The company ranking#
Below the cards, each company appears as an expandable panel showing:
- Total Sales, Orders, Active Branches and Avg Order for that company;
- a progress bar with the company's share of total sales as a percentage (very small shares show as
<1%); - a trophy icon marking the top three companies in the current sort order;
- an Analytics button that jumps straight to the Overview report scoped to that company.
Use the Filter by name box to find a company quickly, and the Total Sales / Orders / Active Branches buttons to re-rank the list. Companies with no sales and no orders in the period are tucked away in a collapsed No activity group at the bottom. If nothing at all matches the period, the page shows "No data for the selected period".
Comparing locations inside a company#
Click a company panel to expand it into a location comparison table:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Branch | The location's name. |
| Total Sales | Sales amount plus a bar showing the location's share of the company's sales. |
| Orders | Number of orders. |
| Avg Order | Average order value (sales divided by orders). |
| New Customers | Customers who registered in the period. |
A Total row sums the table. Sort buttons above the table re-order the locations by Total Sales, Orders or Branch name. Each row has its own Analytics button that opens the Overview report for that single location, and a "View all in Sales Analytics" link at the bottom opens the Overview for the whole company.
Product Analytics#
Product Analytics works the same way as in Location View (see the Analytics chapter of Part 1 for the full walkthrough of the summary cards, highlight cards, charts and product table). In Company View it is scoped to the company selected in the header and adds one filter:
- All Locations — leave empty to report on products across every location of the company, or pick a single location.
The remaining filters are the same as in Location View: All Menus, the date range (the page opens on the last 30 days), Sort By (Revenue (Highest First), Quantity Sold (Highest First), Order Count (Highest First), Product Name (A-Z)) and Limit Results (10, 25, 50, 100 or All; 50 by default), plus the Generate Report button. The report shows summary cards (Total Products, Total Revenue, Total Qty Sold, Avg Rev/Product), top-performer highlights, a top-products chart and a Revenue by Category chart, and the searchable Product Details table with Export CSV and Export Excel buttons. When nothing matches, you'll see "No product data found for the selected period".
Customer Analytics#
Customer Analytics is also identical in content to the Location View version described in Part 1 — the difference in Company View is scope and one extra filter:
- All Locations — analyse the customer base of the entire company, or of one location.
Pick a date range (the page opens on the last 30 days) and press Generate Report. You get the summary cards (Total Customers, New Customers, Returning Customers, Avg Order Value, Avg Days as Customer, Avg Cart Abandonments), the Customer Segments breakdown, Engagement Metrics (email and SMS opt-in rates, average email open and SMS response rates, promotions redeemed), Referral Metrics (Active Referrers, Total Referrals, Successful Referrals, Conversion Rate), Loyalty Programs (enrolment, tiers, points and stamps earned/redeemed) and the sortable Customer List. Clicking a customer opens their Customer Profile with order history, loyalty and referral details. All amounts are shown in the currency of the selected company (or location).

Troubleshooting#
The page is empty or shows zeros.
Check that a company is selected in the header Company selector and that the date range covers a period with orders. Product Analytics and Customer Analytics also need you to press Generate Report after changing filters in the lower row.
"Date range cannot exceed 31 days" on Performance.
The comparison report is limited to 31 days — choose a shorter custom range or use the TODAY/WEEK/MONTH presets.
"Some currencies could not be converted — estimated total is partial."
Your companies trade in more than one currency and an exchange rate was unavailable, so the headline card shows Est. Total Sales and may understate the true total. The per-currency lines beneath it are still exact in their own currencies.
Overview totals don't match what a location manager sees in Location View.
Location View's Overview automatically covers processed and refunded payments only; in Company View, adjust the Payment Status filter to match before comparing.
A location or menu filter reset itself.
Location and menu selections are cleared automatically when you switch company (or location), because they belong to the previous selection.
A company is missing from Performance.
Companies with no sales and no orders in the period are grouped under No activity at the bottom of the list — expand that group to confirm the company is there. Also check the name filter box is empty.
You can't open Analytics or the view switcher at all.
Company View and its reports are permission- controlled; ask the person who manages your user account to grant you company-level analytics access.
