🏢 Company View
Marketing
In Company View, the Marketing menu lets administrators manage offers at the company level: you pick a company, and a single discount, coupon, promotion or loyalty program can be applied to several of that company's locations at once. Company View also includes Branch Marketing, a tool for spotlighting selected locations on the customer-facing site of Portal-type companies.
What is Marketing?#
Marketing brings together all the tools for attracting and rewarding customers. Most of them are the same builders you know from Location View — Company View simply adds company and location targeting on top. One tool, Branch Marketing, exists only in Company View.
| Tool | What it does | Also in Location View? |
|---|---|---|
| Discounts | Automatic money-off offers that apply themselves at checkout when their conditions are met. | Yes — see the Marketing chapter in Part 1 |
| Coupons | Offers unlocked by a code the customer types in at checkout. | Yes — see the Marketing chapter in Part 1 |
| Promotions | Rewards customers redeem with the loyalty points or stamps they have collected. | Yes — see the Marketing chapter in Part 1 |
| Loyalty Programs | Rules for how customers earn points or stamps on their orders. | Yes — see the Marketing chapter in Part 1 |
| Branch Marketing | Named groups of locations featured on a Portal company's customer-facing pages. | No — Company View only |
Where to find Marketing#
- View: Company View.
- Menu: the Marketing group in the left-hand menu, with the entries Discounts, Coupons, Loyalty Programs, Promotions and Branch Marketing.
- Company selector: in Company View the toolbar at the top of the screen shows a
Companyselector. Every Marketing list shows the entries belonging to the company selected there, so if a list looks empty, check which company is chosen first.
Access note: Marketing in Company View is only available to administrators with company-wide (super-admin level) access. Even then, the add, edit and delete buttons on each page appear only if your account has been granted the matching rights, so some colleagues may see a list without being able to change it.
Discounts shared builder — company-level differences#
The Discounts list and builder work exactly as described in the Marketing chapter of Part 1 (Location View): the same conditions, discount types, live mobile preview and Submit button. What is different at company level:
- The list shows the discounts of the company chosen in the top-bar
Companyselector, across all of its locations. - The builder starts with two extra required fields: Company and Branch. Branch is a multi-select, so one discount can apply to several locations at once. Leaving them empty shows
Company is requiredorBranch is required. - When you pick a company, all of its locations are selected in Branch by default — remove the ones you don't want. Changing the company while editing an existing discount clears the form, since menus and locations belong to the previous company.
Use Add Discount to create one; a successful save shows Your discount saved successfully.
Coupons shared builder — company-level differences#
Coupons work exactly as in Location View (see the Part 1 Marketing chapter), including the coupon code, usage limits and visibility settings. At company level the differences are the same as for Discounts: the list follows the top-bar Company selector, and the builder adds required Company and Branch fields so one coupon code can be valid at several locations at once. Use Add Coupon to create one; a successful save shows Your coupon saved successfully.
Promotions shared builder — company-level differences#
Promotions (loyalty rewards redeemed with points or stamps) use the same builder as Location View — see the Part 1 Marketing chapter. As with Discounts and Coupons, Company View adds the required Company and Branch fields at the top of the builder and filters the list by the company selected in the top bar. Use Add Promotion to create one; a successful save shows Your promotion saved successfully.
Loyalty Programs shared builder — company-level differences#
Loyalty Programs are built exactly as described in the Part 1 Marketing chapter — earning rules, boosters, reward type and so on. At company level:
- The list shows the loyalty programs of the company selected in the top-bar
Companyselector. - The builder adds the required Company and Branch fields, so one program can run across several locations. Picking a company preselects all of its locations in Branch.
Use Add Loyalty Program to create one.
Branch Marketing Company View only#
Branch Marketing lets you create named campaigns that feature a hand-picked group of locations on a Portal company's customer-facing pages — for example a "Top rated near you" or "New this week" selection. Each campaign has a title, a set of locations, a display position, and a choice of which page areas it appears in: the Store Listing page, the Home page, or both. Branch Marketing only works for Portal-type companies (companies whose customer site is a portal listing many locations). If the company selected in the top bar is not a Portal company, the page shows Branch Marketing is only available for Portal companies instead of a list, and the add button is hidden.
The campaign list#
Select a Portal company in the top-bar Company selector to see its campaigns. Each campaign appears as a card showing:
- The campaign title.
- Branches — the number of locations in the campaign and their names (the first ten are shown; any extras are summarised as a
+Ntag). - Display Order — the campaign's position relative to other campaigns.
- A status badge:
Active(green) orInactive(red). - Edit and Delete buttons, if your account has those rights. Deleting asks
Are you sure you want to deletethis campaign?— confirm withYes! Deleteor back out withNo.
Creating and editing a campaign#
Click ADD BRANCH MARKETING (top right) to open the Add Branch Marketing window, or the edit button on a card to open Edit Branch Marketing. The form contains:
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Title | The campaign's name, shown to customers as the heading of the section. Required — leaving it empty shows Title is required. |
| Translations | Appears only if the company supports more than one language: enter a Name for each language. |
| Branches | The locations featured in the campaign — pick as many as you like from the company's locations. Required: At least one branch is required. |
| Min Branches / Max Branches | The minimum and maximum number of locations the campaign section displays, each between 1 and 10. Defaults: min 1, max 10. |
| Display Order | The campaign's position among your campaigns — lower numbers appear first. Required, minimum 1. |
| Active | Switch the campaign on or off without deleting it. New campaigns start active. |
| Applies To | Where the campaign appears: tick Store Listing, Home, or both (both are ticked by default). At least one must be selected: At least one area must be selected. |
Press SAVE to save or CLOSE to discard. A successful save shows Branch marketing saved successfully.

Submit.
Launch a company-wide coupon code#
- Open Marketing → Coupons and click Add Coupon.
- Choose the Company and keep all locations selected in Branch so the code works everywhere.
- Enter the code and the rest of the offer, then click
Submit.
Feature a group of locations on a portal#
- Select the Portal company in the top-bar
Companyselector. - Open Marketing → Branch Marketing and click ADD BRANCH MARKETING.
- Give the campaign a Title, pick its Branches, choose where it appears under Applies To, and press
SAVE.

- Open the offer or campaign for editing.
- Switch Active off and save. It disappears from customers but stays in your list, ready to switch back on.
Troubleshooting#
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| A Marketing list is empty or shows the wrong offers | Check the Company selector in the top bar — every list in Company View shows only the selected company's entries. |
The page says Branch Marketing is only available for Portal companies | The selected company is not a Portal-type company. Branch Marketing only applies to portal sites that list many locations; select a Portal company instead. |
You can't submit an offer — Company is required or Branch is required | In Company View the builder needs both fields filled in: choose a Company first, then at least one location in Branch. |
| The form emptied itself after you changed the company | This is expected when editing: menus and locations belong to a company, so switching company resets the form. Re-enter the offer for the new company. |
A Branch Marketing campaign won't save — At least one area must be selected | Tick at least one option under Applies To (Store Listing and/or Home). |
| You can see a list but there is no add, edit or delete button | Your account has view access but not the corresponding editing rights for that tool. Ask the administrator who manages user accounts to adjust your access. |
| A saved offer isn't showing for customers | Check that it is Active, that today falls within its date range, and that the customer is ordering from one of the locations selected in Branch. |
