🏢 Company View

Companies

The Companies page is where you create and manage every company (brand) on the platform. It is a Company View feature — it works platform-wide and requires super-admin access.

What is a company?#

A company is the top-level business record on the platform. Everything else — locations, menus, orders, users, websites — belongs to a company. When a new brand joins the platform, creating its company record is the first step; you can then add its locations and configure the rest of its setup.

Where to find Companies#

  • View: Company View (super-admin access)
  • Menu: Business → Companies

Companies is also the first page you land on when you enter Company View.

The company list#

The list shows every company on the platform, ten per page by default. You can change the page size (10 up to 200 per page) with the page-size selector below the table.

Adding a company#

  1. Open Business → Companies and click ADD COMPANY (top right).
  2. The Add company window opens with two tabs: General Information and GDPR.

  5. Click CLOSE to return to the list.

Editing a company#

  1. Find the company in the list and click the Edit (pencil) button in its row.
  2. The Edit company window opens. Fields that were fixed at creation (name, description, type, delivery zone type, tier, country, languages) appear greyed out; all other fields can be updated.
  3. Click SAVE. The confirmation "Company has been saved successfully" appears, then click CLOSE.

Deleting a company#

  1. Click the red Delete (bin) button in the company's row.
  2. A confirmation appears: "Are you sure want to delete this company?"
  3. Click Yes! Delete to confirm, or No to cancel.

Field reference — GDPR tab#

These fields record the company's registered business and data-protection details. They are all optional.

  • Trading Name — the name the business trades under.
  • Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Postal Code, City, Registered Country — the registered business address.
  • Data Controller First Name, Data Controller Last Name, Data Controller Phone, Data Controller Email — the contact details of the person responsible for data protection.
  • Corporate Number — the company registration number.
  • Tax Number — the company's tax number (numeric).
  • Signed DPA — a switch recording whether the company has signed a Data Processing Agreement.

Common tasks#

Working on a specific company#

Most other Company View pages (Locations, Orders, Marketing, and so on) show data for the company chosen in the Company selector at the top of the screen. Create or find the company here first, then pick it in that selector to manage its locations and settings.

Temporarily taking a brand offline#

Edit the company and switch Active off, then click SAVE. Switch it back on when the brand should return.

Setting up a reseller or marketplace structure#

Create the parent company first and set its Company Tier to RESELLER or MARKETPLACE. Then, on each child company, set Reseller / Marketplace Parent to that parent.

Troubleshooting#

I cannot see the ADD COMPANY button.

Your account lacks the permission to create companies — ask your administrator.

Some fields are greyed out when editing.

That is expected: name, description, company type, delivery zone type, tier, country and languages are set once, at creation. If one of these is wrong, contact your platform administrator.

The Company Tier and Reseller / Marketplace Parent fields are missing.

These fields are shown to super admins only.

Saving fails with a red error message.

Check that every required field is filled in — each missing field shows its own message, for example "Primary Web Host is a required value".
