🏢 Company View
Customers
The Customers page in Company View lists every registered customer of the selected company, with their data spanning all of that company's locations. From here you can search customers company-wide, open a customer's profile to see and edit their details, review their addresses and full order history, export the customer base, and block problem customers.
Where to find Customers#
- View: Company View
- Menu: Orders & Customers → Customers
On this page the company is chosen with the Company selector in the page header (in Company View the header shows only a company picker — the separate branch picker from Location View is hidden). The list stays empty until a company is selected.
The customer list#
Columns#
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Customer ID | The customer's unique number. It is a link that opens the customer's profile. |
| Phone | The customer's phone number. |
| First Name / Last Name | The customer's name. |
| The customer's email address. | |
| SMS | A tick if the customer has opted in to SMS marketing. |
| A tick if the customer has opted in to email marketing. |
The last column holds a View button that also opens the customer's profile.
Search fields#
The Company View search bar replaces the Location View one and searches across the whole company:
- All Locations — narrow the list to customers of a single location, or leave empty for the whole company.
- Customer Id — look up one customer by number.
- Phone, First Name, Last Name, Email, Address — search by customer details.
Press Search to apply. Paging works as in other lists, with a page-size selector.
Exporting customers#
The Export button at the top opens the Export Customer window. In Company View it includes a Company and Branch selection (Location View exports only the current store's customers). Choose an Order Date range — required, and limited to 365 days — and download the file as CSV with the Download button. The export covers customers with activity in the chosen period.
The customer profile#
Opening a customer (via the Customer ID link or the View button) shows their profile page with three sections and a page-level action.
Customer details#
- Customer ID and Email — read-only.
- First Name, Last Name and Phone — editable fields. After changing any of them, press Save; you will see "Customer information updated successfully". The button stays disabled until something has actually changed.
- SMS and EMAIL — read-only ticks showing the customer's marketing opt-ins. These reflect the customer's own consent and cannot be changed here.
Addresses#
The Addresses section lists the customer's saved delivery addresses; the customer's main address carries a Default tag. Accounts with the appropriate access also get an Edit button on each address, opening an Edit Address window; a successful change shows "Address saved successfully".
Order history#
Below the addresses, the customer's past orders are listed with Order ID, Status, Created At, Expected By, Order Type, Payment and Device. Orders can be opened for full details, as described in the Orders chapter.
Blocking a customer#
The Block Customer button at the top of the profile blocks the customer (for example after fraudulent orders). A confirmation prompt — "Are you sure you want to block this customer?" — must be accepted with Block. Once blocked, the profile shows the tag This customer is blocked in place of the button.
Common tasks#
- Find who placed an order: from the Orders page, click the customer's name — in Company View this always opens the profile.
- Correct a misspelled name or phone number: open the profile → edit First Name, Last Name or Phone → Save.
- Get a marketing list: filter or export the customers and use the SMS / EMAIL columns to respect each customer's opt-in choice.
- Stop a fraudulent customer: open their profile → Block Customer → Block.
Troubleshooting#
The list is empty
Make sure a company is selected in the Company picker in the page header; the customer list only loads once a company is chosen.
A search returns nothing
Search fields match the selected company only; check you are on the right company and clear the All Locations filter.
The Save button on the profile is greyed out
It only becomes active after you change the first name, last name or phone field.
No Edit button on addresses
Editing customer addresses requires additional access on your account.
The export fails on the date range
The Order Date range is required and may not exceed 365 days.
