🍳 Kitchen Display
The Board
Open Kitchen → Kitchen Display on the device in the kitchen and pick the station in the top-left. The board remembers the station per device, so a tablet on the grill opens on the grill next time. New tickets appear within a couple of seconds of the order being accepted in Live Orders (or auto-confirmed), with a chime.
Reading a ticket#
- Header — the order number, the order type (Delivery, Collect, Dine-in), a state word (New, Warn, Late) and the timer, counting up from the moment the ticket fired.
- Second line — the customer's first name or the table number, the item count, and a Due time for pre-orders.
- Items — quantity in a box, the item name, then its options. Removals are shown in red as NO, additions with a +. Special instructions sit on an amber strip and are never truncated.
- Footer (expo only) — a chip per prep station showing how many of that station's items are done, for example Grill 2/2 ✓ · Fry 0/1.
Colours and sound#

The word in the header always matches the colour, so a cook who cannot tell amber from red still has the information. The speaker button in the top bar mutes the chimes on that device; the Open and Late counters are also filters — tap Late to show only late tickets, tap it again to show everything.
Card size#
The Compact / Normal / Large control in the top bar sets the ticket width and type size. Large suits a wall screen read from across the kitchen; Compact fits more tickets on a tablet at the pass. The choice is remembered per device.
Filters#
The Open and Late counters are filters. Tap Late to show only late tickets, tap it again to show everything. The All-day button replaces the board with a count of every open item at the station, so the cook can batch; it counts only items that have not been bumped and ignores cancelled orders.
