Languages
The app can be used in any of the languages it ships with, and receipts can print item names in several languages at once — one for the kitchen, one for the customer.
Changing the app language#
- Open the menu and tap Languages.
- Choose the language from the list.
- Confirm. The screens redraw in the language you picked.
Receipt languages#
Item Receipt Languages in Printer Settings controls the languages item names are printed in, and Rearrange languages sets their order on the paper. The app's own language and the receipt languages are set separately, so staff can work in one language while the kitchen ticket prints in another.
Troubleshooting#
The app language changed but receipts did not
They are separate settings. Change the receipt languages under Printer Settings.
An item prints in only one language
The item has no name recorded in the other language. Add it to the menu in the Admin Dashboard.
