Printer Settings
Printer Settings is where a device is paired with the receipt printer it prints to, and where the shape of the printed receipt is set — its width, how many copies, and the languages items are printed in. The settings belong to the device, so each terminal is configured once.
Where to find it#
- Menu: Printer Settings
- The entry appears on Sunmi terminals and on builds that support an external printer.
Choosing a printer#
- Open Printer Settings and tap Select a Printer.
- Choose the Printer Brand: Senraise (built-in), Sunmi, Epson, Star Micronics, Naiting, or Others (ESC/POS).
- Choose the Connection Type — Connect via Bluetooth or Connect via Wi-Fi / LAN.
- For Bluetooth, pick the printer from Paired Devices or search Available Devices. For LAN, let the app search the network, or enter the printer's IP address and port (the default port is 9100).
- The chosen printer is shown as Printer 1.
A second printer can be added as Printer 2 — for a kitchen copy, for example. The second printer must be connected over LAN.
Receipt options#

| Select printer receipt size | Sets the paper width — 58 mm or 80 mm. Get this wrong and lines wrap or leave a wide margin. |
| Copies | How many receipt copies print for each order. |
| Receipt Font Sizes | Three sliders — Small, Medium and Large — for the built-in Sunmi printer's receipt. Reset restores the defaults. |
| Item Receipt Languages | Which languages item names print in, and in what order. |
| Preview Receipt | Prints a sample receipt so you can check the width, the sizes and the languages. |
The font-size sliders apply to the built-in Sunmi printer only. Epson, Star Micronics and Sunmi LAN printers use the card-style receipt layout, which sets its own type sizes.
Troubleshooting#
The printer is not configured yet
No printer has been selected on this device. Open Printer Settings and select one.
No printers found
For Bluetooth, check the printer is on and paired and that Bluetooth permission was granted; for LAN, check the printer is on the same network as the terminal, then enter its IP address manually.
Bluetooth is off
Turn it on from the prompt, or in the device's Settings.
Location permission is required for Sunmi Bluetooth printers
Grant Location, or connect that printer over LAN instead.
Receipts print too narrow or wrap
The receipt size does not match the paper. Switch between 58 mm and 80 mm and print a preview.
Only one copy prints
On Epson, Star Micronics and Sunmi LAN printers the card-style receipt prints once from the primary printer; the copies setting applies to Naiting and ESC/POS printers.
