📱 Order Manager App

Going Online and Offline

The Go Online / Offline screen is how a branch stops and starts taking orders from the terminal. Each service — delivery and pick up — is switched on or off independently, and the same screen sets how far ahead each service accepts orders.

Where to find it#

  • Menu: Go Online / Offline

Switching a service on or off#

  1. Open Go Online / Offline.
  2. Set Delivery and Pick Up to Active or off.
  3. Choose the Order Time for each service — the lead time customers are quoted.
  4. Use the ASAP switch to say whether the service takes orders for now, as well as for later.
  5. Tap SAVE. The change applies to the branch immediately, everywhere.

Warnings you may see#

  • Your ordering service is set to inactive. To start accepting online orders go online — both services are off.
  • Your DELIVERY service is set to inactive. To start accepting delivery orders go online.
  • Your PICK UP service is set to inactive. To start accepting collection orders go online.

Order notifications while the store is closed#

Pre-orders can arrive at any hour. The Disable pre-order notification sounds during store closing hours switch adds orders that arrive outside opening hours to the list only — no pop-up and no sound. It is off by default and applies to that device alone, so a terminal left on overnight can be silenced without changing anything for the branch.

Troubleshooting#

You have no available services

The branch has no services configured. Set them up in the Admin Dashboard under Services before using this screen.

A service switches back on by itself

The change is saved for the branch, so another device or the dashboard may have switched it. Check with the rest of the team.

Customers still cannot order after going online

The branch may also be outside its opening times. Check Opening Times in the Admin Dashboard.
