Sales Reports
Sales Reports gives the branch its trading figures on the terminal — what was sold today, this week and this month, how that compares with the period before, and what the mix of order types and payment methods looks like.
Where to find it#
- Menu: Sales Reports
Choosing a period#
The report opens on three tabs — Daily, Weekly and Monthly — with a picker for the day, week or month. Each period shows Total Sales and Total Orders, with a comparison against the previous day, week or month so a quiet period is obvious.
Sales breakdown#
Sales Breakdown By splits the same period three ways:
| Breakdown | Shows |
|---|---|
| Order Type | Delivery, pick up, curb-side, eat-in and catering. |
| Payment Type | Cash, card, card terminal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. |
| Platform Type | Website, iOS, Android and EPOS. |
Order history#
The Order History tab lists the individual orders behind the totals, so a figure that looks wrong can be traced to the orders that make it up. When a period has no trading the report says You have no orders for the selected period.
Troubleshooting#
The totals differ from the dashboard
Check the period and that the terminal is signed in to the branch you are comparing against. The app reports one branch; Company View in the dashboard reports every location.
You have no orders for the selected period
There was no trading in that day, week or month. Pick another period.
The report will not load
Could not load data. Check connection. The figures are fetched live, so the terminal has to be online.
