Delivery Management

Delivery Management is where a branch that outsources its deliveries hands a delivery order to a third-party courier fleet instead of driving it themselves.

How it works#

Where outsourcing is enabled, delivery orders can be passed to the courier fleet from this screen. When it is switched off, the screen says so — Outsourcing delivery orders for third-party delivery is disabled. — and delivery orders stay with the branch's own drivers.

On a branch whose deliveries are driven by a courier, the app also adapts the order screens: accepting asks for kitchen preparation time rather than a time to the customer, and the delivery status buttons can be hidden so the courier remains the single source of truth on where the order is.
